IZ-KARTEX restarts cooperation with Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works
On 17 May 2018, the first EKG-10 shovel made by IZ-KARTEX was commissioned at Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works over the past 25 years.
The last EKG-10 was supplied at Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works as early as 1992. New EKG-10 made by IZ-KARTEX will essentially step up the excavator fleet of Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works and will allow to increase productivity of the enterprise. The shovel will be used in a shop of agglomerate and charge preparation to load pellets and concentrate in cars for shipping to blast furnaces.
Specialists from IZ-KARTEX carried out the tuning of shovel’s main and supportive electric drives and the supervision installation, which included quality control, installation of Automated Lubrication System and carrying out of the approval tests. Service company of Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works made installation works.
